Chartered Professional Accountant
Ripudaman (Rimple) Chowdhary, CPA, is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in public practice and internal accounting. He graduated from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops in 2019 with a major in Accounting.
Before immigrating to Canada in 2017, Ripudaman developed a strong foundation in accounting through five years of public practice experience in India, including work with one of the Big Four accounting firms.
Ripudaman began his public practice career in Canada at a small public accounting firm, where he worked closely with owner-managed businesses and small and medium enterprises. This hands-on experience provided him with a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by small business owners, including cash flow management, tax compliance, and practical decision-making.
After successfully completing the Common Final Examination (CFE), Ripudaman transitioned to a well-reputed Big Six accounting firm with global presence, focusing on audit and review engagements for larger and more complex clients. The combination of small-firm and large-firm experience has enabled him to develop a well-rounded, practical, and adaptable approach to client service.
Following the completion of the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) with CPA British Columbia, Ripudaman obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2023. He brings over six years of public practice experience, having worked in various capacities including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and assurance services.
Ripudaman works closely with incorporated professionals and business owners across a wide range of industries, including construction and trades, engineering firms, convenience stores, professional real estate corporations (PRECs), and other small- to mid-sized businesses. He is committed to delivering practical, reliable, and value-driven accounting and advisory services tailored to each client’s needs.
Outside of the office, Ripudaman enjoys staying active through swimming and badminton, attending sporting events such as cricket, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends.
